National Capital Chapter of Safari Club International Annual Banquet & Auction 2009

I attended the SCI National Capital Chapter Banquet this evening with my wife Amy, friends Greg and Jenn. I believe that overall the evening was a success. Just how successful will be known in about a week. However, there were approximately 270 people that attended the banquet and auction. All for conservation and conservation education projects

It was great to see some new faces and prospective members and people bidding on items even in these tough economic times.

There were quite a few Donations for Safari in A Box, which is an outstanding program!

I hope that they are able to schedule next year’s banquet at the same location as it was a great venue with some very tasty food!

Now, these photos (except the photo of Greg and Jenn) and this format was a new test for me. I posted this complete blog from my iPhone instead of my computer. It appears that the post turned out “ok”, but it just wiped my battery out! I need to figure out why that happend.
