State Parks Passes For Nonresidents Available

Nonresidents who visit Montana’s state parks regularly can purchase a $25 annual pass and enjoy unlimited entry to all 54 Montana State Parks.

The new 2009 state parks pass is available at all Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks regional offices and online at fwp.mt.gov , click Online Services. The nonresident daily entrance fee at Montana State Parks is $5 per vehicle at the parks that charge entrance fees.

Visitors arriving at a Montana State Park in a vehicle with a Montana license plate pay no entrance fee. The registration of light vehicles in the state carries an optional $4 fee to support the state’s parks, fishing access sites, and historic Virginia City and Nevada City.
