Leftover licenses for Wyoming doe deer, doe antelope, and cow elk go on sale 8:00am MT on July 21. These licenses will be sold on a first-come first-served basis, so you’ll need to act quickly if you’re interested.
In previous years, leftover licenses were allocated via an application and drawing process. Starting this year, licenses are first-come first-served.
Some of the areas where licenses are available have reasonable public access either through public federal and state lands or through Wyoming’s hunter management and walk-in area programs.
However, there are also many licenses remaining in hunt areas that are predominantly private lands where public access is difficult.
Leftover license list is here.
