Leftover licenses for Wyoming deer, elk, and antelope go on sale 8:00am MT on July 7th.  The licenses will be sold on a first-come first-served basis, so you’ll need to act quickly if you’re interested.

The July 7th sale is for buck/bull and either-sex licenses. Reduced-price doe/cow licenses go on sale on July 21st.

In previous years, leftover licenses were allocated via an application and drawing process. Starting this year, licenses are first-come first-served.

Some of the areas where licenses are available have reasonable public access either through public federal and state lands or through Wyoming’s hunter management and walk-in area programs. However, there are also many licenses remaining in hunt areas that are predominantly private lands where public access is difficult.
